PESHAWAR: Pakistan security forces have apprehended two foreigners and a local man who were crossing Pak-Afghan border illegally, SAMAA learnt Tuesday.
The foreigners including a woman have been shifted to Peshawar for further investigation. Nicole Tang, the woman, hails from Hong Kong and keeps American passport though Machos is from Switzerland.
The arrested persons said during the initial investigation that they were visiting the area though the political administration said that they were not carrying entrance certificate to visit Khyber Agency.
POLICE ARREST 53 SUSPECTS FROM RAWALPINDI
Police have held 53 suspects during a search operation in the precincts of Pir Wadhai police station Tuesday.
SSP operation, Yaseen Farooq, along with other law enforcement agencies held raids in different areas including Fauji Colony, Zia-ul Haq Colony and General Bus Stand and held these suspects.
The law enforcement agencies also visited hotels and guest houses in the area and scrutinized the information. SAMAA
